RESIDENCY / VISA

Requirements:
- Proof of accommodation in Portugal;
- Travelling on a legal entry visa to the country (to obtain this visa, you will need to consult us, so we can help you prepare the file for your application for a visa to travel to Portugal);
- Proof of means of subsistence (a minimum equivalent to the Portuguese minimum wage (currently €760.00) x 12 + 50% for the spouse + 30% for each child);
- Health insurance recognized in Portugal;
- Administrative documents, including passport and criminal record from the country of origin.
 
To obtain residence in Portugal through article 77 of the REPSAE (D7), there is no investment ceiling required if the applicant proves to have a home in Portugal.

- Ability to travel within the Schengen area;
- Possible tax benefits if you apply for RNH status;
 
This residence permit will be valid for 2 years, renewable for periods of 3 years. After 5 years' residence in Portugal, you can apply for permanent residence or even citizenship through naturalization.
